Effects of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
Someone suffering from fatigue is easily ex-hausted. If fatigue hangs on for more than half a year and is not treatable through sleep or simple rest, it can trigger other problems such as memory loss, fever and muscular problems. Fatigue is not only a illness but most likely an indicator of a variety of different issues including stress, working excessive hours, insufficient sleep or poor sleep routine, bad eating habits, menstruation or depres-sion. Any of these factors can lead to fatigue or worsen fatigue if it is already present. The physi-cal and psychological damage that you can inflict upon yourself with fatigue is extreme. With many of the symptoms of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is the possibility of developing a weakened immune system based on the fact that the body is not get-ting the proper nutrients, rest, and care that it needs to function at optimal levels. When an im-mune system grows weak it opens new opportuni-ties for other sicknesses to attack the body. Basi-cally it paves the way for a person to develop other illnesses, some possibly more severe than Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.
